Good Women Worth Reading

April 2nd, 2012

What inspires you? We don’t ask that question often enough. One of the things that inspires me is seeing women walk into the fullness of who God created them to be.  That means discovering how God has gifted you, embracing that gift, polishing that gift and using that gift. You might be asking, where do I begin.  I believe reading good blogs and books by strong women who are Christ followers is a good start.  Let me suggest some places to begin.

Wanted to come & see you at the Moms meeting (even tho I am a Grandma) when you were at 1st Bapt. of Geneva but didn’t work out.
Thank you as always for the ministry of Midday…yesterday and today were exactly what I need as I am going thro a terrible time with my church..loyalty vs. is the other church where The Lord wants me?
I am just t rying to be quiet in my mind and spirit and listen to The Lord, not people’s opinions and getting caught up in conflict…I have so many family criceses ! Your programs as the others on WBMI are my lifeline to sanity right now..THANKYOU!! Love you, Betty Prestler

Anita, I have been listining to you for you about a year now, and love the way you open your heart . Your such a geninue and loveing person. I sit on the edge of my bed, when the program comes on, and delight in all your conversations. I, to am a mixed medium artist, and struggle with how to mix my passion with the love of the lord, and my love to paint and create. Any suggestions? I thank God for stations like yours ,that we still have the freedom to listen about the Good News of Jesus Christ.

Anita, I always enjoy listening to you on Midday Connection, and open, honest, transparent way you share your heart with us… just wanted to share this God-moment with you…the other day, I was driving to work and the Brandon Heath song, “The Light In Me” came on the radio…I’m singing along with Brandon and then suddenly, as if a voice was whispering in my heart, every time I sang the words of the song…”The Light”…what I heard in my spirit sounded like…”De Light”…so I sang along with these new lyrics… “You put De Light in me”… “You put DeLight in me”… Oh, yes, of course, “YOU put DELIGHT in me!” What a joy! What a revelation! God himself put DELIGHT in me…I have always loved the Scripture Psalm 37:4…“Delight yourself in the LORD; and He will give you the desires of your heart.” I even wrote a blog post about it a couple of years ago… http://bethwillismiller.blogspot.com/2010/10/delight-yourself-in-lord.html … Now, I will never hear “The Light In Me” or read Psalm 37:4 again that I am not reminded of that moment, the ah-ha awareness of His Presence in my car with me as I drove to work and sang and listened to Him speak…It is not me who has to “work up” delight in the Lord, HE has already put DELIGHT in me :)
